Somewhat intentionally foolish

A Round of Words in 80 DaysI have taken part in A Round of Words in 80 Days before. But then I stopped. Now I am back again.

Certain things are beneficial, but you only find it out when you don’t do them anymore. I’ve had adventures before. But I stopped doing them.

That is why I am updating my goals today, because on the 2nd of July, when the official ROW80 goals go up, I’m not going to available. I’m going to be of on an adventure. And I don’t know if I’ll be able to blog.

Here are my goals for the next 80 days. I intend to:

  • finish and publish eight more short stories
  • spend less money
  • work harder

Okay, that takes care of the boring goals. What I really want to do is:

  • finish and publish 40 more short stories
  • have great adventures
  • live more

Realistically, I hope to come out somewhere in the middle.

  1. I took a break for a few rounds, too, and now I need something to help me keep my head on task.

I posted my goals now, too, because I’m caught up in finding a laptop and converting to that before my desktop dies…I’m whispering to Old Desktop, please don’t die, not yet!

But until the laptop is up and running, with all the appropriate bookmarks, etc., my blogging may suffer.

Everything suffers at my side. We are planning a trip from this Friday and it is all upside down. The biggest down (and up) is that the computer stays at home and only the Blackberry goes with.

But I’m not yet sure I want blog with the Blackberry.

  2. Ambition and realism wrapped into one!

Good luck on your intentionally foolish adventures.
